EAR, NOSE AND THROAT
EAR WAX REMOVAL AND CLEANING
This Is a procedure that cleans the ear under direct magnification using a microscope with an small suction device. This helps to remove debris and wax, in a more precise and safer way than traditional "syringing". It also allows a clearer view of the eardrum and aiding the diagnosis. This procedure can be performed for adults and well selected cooperative children over the age of 4.
NASO-ENDOSCOPY
With the latest in HD technology we can perform an endoscopy of the nose using a ultra slim rigid nasal endoscope (small telescopes), or flexible nasolaryngoscopy. Our modern nasal endoscopy devices allows excellent clear view through a High Definiton monitor of diferent anatomical sites such as the nasal cavity, the sinus openings,the pharynx and larynx (voice box).
Before commencing the examination of the upper airways the most appropriate method to use is discussed with you. We may also use a decongestant spray and a local anaesthetic to ease any discomfort.
HEARING TEST
The standard assessment of hearing is a ‘pure tone audiometry’ which is performed with sound proofed earphones on calibrated instruments
MINOR SURGERY
The Hunter Suite and the ENT consulting room comes with a Minor Surgery Room approved by most private health insurance companies, where we can perform small surgeries and procedures under local anaesthetic, such as the removal of benign and malignant skin lesions, grommet insertion, scar revisions, etc.

ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS
Hyperactivity of the facial expression muscles often
results in the development of deep frown lines, forehead lines and/or crow's feet.
